The Dow Hotel Company appoints Michele Oliveri to Director of Sales and Marketing at Hilton Bellevue in Washington State

Oliveri brings more than a decade of hands-on hospitality experience and leadership to DHC, with in-depth local and national hotel sales experience.

SEATTLE, WASH. – Officials of The Dow Hotel Company (DHC), a leading national hotel owner/investor and operator, promoted Michele Oliveri as the director of sales and marketing of the 353-room Hilton Bellevue in Wash., state. In her new role, Oliveri will lead the sales team to forge new partnerships, expand existing alliances and enhance industry connections. DHC has extensive relationships with all the premium hotel brand families, independent boutique and life-style hotels and resorts.

“During her past five years with the Hilton Bellevue, Michele has proven herself as a talented and motivated sales person and leader, making this promotion all the more fitting,” said Murray L. Dow II, DHC founder and president. “During her tenure here, she already has been responsible for such impressive results as soliciting and booking more than $7 million in new group revenue and has taken an obvious leadership role within the team. We are confident that she will provide top-notch revenue strategy, positioning the Hilton Bellevue as the hotel of choice for upper scale business and leisure travelers to the area.”

Oliveri brings more than a decade of hands-on hospitality experience and leadership to DHC, with in-depth local and national hotel sales experience. Prior to joining the Hilton Bellevue, Oliveri worked with such well known hotels as the Hotel Deca, Warwick Seattle Hotel and Holiday Inn Seattle Center as sales manager, focusing on customer organization and bringing in new accounts, as well as maintaining existing ones. She has been continuously recognized for her superior work, including six Gold Key Awards at the Hotel Deca for perfect sales shops in July 2008, October 2008, January 2009, November 2009, April 2010 and August 2010. Oliveri received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management from the University of Portland, Ore.

Located ten miles from Seattle, the Hilton Bellevue recently completed a $12 million renovation that focused on guest rooms, meeting space, the lobby, restaurant, bar and private dining rooms. The hotel is in the city’s business district and near the Meydenbauer Convention Center. The property boasts a glass enclosed lobby, designed to provide the ultimate comfort. Hilton Bellevue's substantial meeting space includes 22,000 square feet of flexible meeting and ballroom space capable of accommodating up to 2,500 people and a free-standing, 34,000 square foot exhibit hall suitable for car and boat shows and other, similar events. The hotel offers two restaurants, Basil's Kitchen, serving Mediterranean cuisine with a Pacific Northwest flair, open for three meals daily, and Masterson's, an intimate, 40-seat restaurant open for dinner only, along with The Coffee Bar Cafe, where guests can sip and mingle or grab and go. Hotel amenities include wireless internet access, 40” flat panel HD televisions, oversized work area and ergonomic chair, multi-line phone with voice mail and step-out balconies/patios. Guest also can enjoy Bellevue's only outdoor heated pool, whirlpool, 24-hour fitness center and a full-service business center. Additional services also include electric car charging stations, pet-friendly policies, “quiet hours” between 9pm-8am, a complimentary shuttle that takes guests anywhere within a mile radius and a text messaging hotel platform called Kipsu.
