Aviareps and Air Tahiti Nui extend their successful cooperation to two further markets: the global representation expert is entrusted with all future sales, ticketing and marketing activities by the French-Polynesian airline in Austria and Scandinavia. With immediate effect, the strong sales teams in Vienna and Stockholm are responsible for promoting the top of the range flight services with the unique touch of Polynesian hospitality.

Air Tahiti Nui currently links Europe with its base in Papeete by providing long haul flights from Paris via Los Angeles to Tahiti. Up to seven weekly flights are scheduled between the French capital and Papeete. One flight is operated by code share partner Air France (every Wednesday). Air Tahiti Nui also operates daily services from Los Angeles to Tahiti.

Passengers can also take the scheduled long haul services from Tokyo to Papeete, which are featured by Air Tahiti Nui and code share partner Japan Airlines. In addition to its international flight offer Air Tahiti Nui also connects its base with Auckland (New Zealand).

Air Tahiti Nui closely works with numerous airline partners such as Air France, Air New Zealand, Japan Airlines and Qantas to give more choices to passengers flying to/from Tahiti.

Since 2004 the national carrier of French-Polynesia has established a code-share operation with the French railway company SNCF TGV that allows passengers to travel from 19 French cities to the European departure airport in Paris with a single ticket.

Austrian travelers and Scandinavian nationals shall benefit from Air Tahiti Nui flights and combined fares to the island paradise in the South Seas.

Founded in 1996 by the government of French Polynesia and local private investors, Air Tahiti Nui became French Polynesia’s national carrier to support the development of the Tahitian tourism and to provide the needed transport of passengers to and from the beautiful islands. Today, more than 15 years later, Air Tahiti Nui features attractive flight services in a convenient three class configuration and is famous for its special Polynesian spirit that has been rewarded more than once. The national carrier fulfills the highest standards of international air safety by submitting to IOSA, the operational IATA-audit.

Air Tahiti Nui operates a modern aircraft fleet which currently consists of five Airbus 340-300 airplanes.
