Hyatt Regency La Jolla unveils $12 million renovation

The restyled rooms, envisioned by Indidesign, now offer contemporary comfort and exceptional function to enhance the guest experience.

SAN DIEGO – Hyatt Regency La Jolla announced the completion of a $12 million renovation. The transformation included a makeover of the property’s 417 guestrooms and suites to complement the inviting lobby, public areas and meeting space. The landmark hotel, located within the Aventine in La Jolla, is a popular destination for leisure and business travelers, as well as local events and celebrations.

“We are thrilled with our extensive guestroom remodel and know our guests will be as well,” said Mohsen Khaleghi, General Manager of Hyatt Regency La Jolla. “Our hotel now offers the most up-to-date rooms; paired with the best location in San Diego. We are looking forward to welcoming our guests to enjoy our redesigned modern accommodations.”

The restyled rooms, envisioned by Indidesign, now offer contemporary comfort and exceptional function to enhance the guest experience. The top-to-bottom improvements included the redesign of bathrooms and bedrooms with a contemporary, coastal chic aesthetic accented in colors of blues, greys, and yellows. The rooms feature new lighting fixtures and furnishings including chairs, ottomans, headboards and TV stands. The sleek bathrooms feature all new fixtures and finishes including glass mosaic tiles and white porcelain sinks with stainless steel faucets and hardware.

With the completion of this transformation, the hotel is excited to usher in a new era of modernization to their guestrooms. Hyatt Regency La Jolla is encouraging everyone; both former and new guests, as well as local and destination travelers; to be one of the first to experience the new guestrooms.
