NOVUM Hotel Group grows to 95 hotels

Seven hotels in Dresden, Neuss and Dussedorf have been acquired on 1st September 2016.

Another success for the NOVUM Group Hotels: The seven sleepNsmile Hotels have been acquired on 1st September 2016. The rapidly expanding hotel group‘s portfolio has now reached 95 hotels with more than 9,300 rooms at 29 locations in Europe. 
„The sleepNsmile Hotels fit perfectly into our portfolio. They are situated near top locations at interesting destinations. We will cautiously customize the existing hotels according to our corporate identity standards and implement our successful brand philosophy“, says David Etmenan, CEO of NOVUM Group.

The acquisition involves two hotels in Dresden, two hotels Neuss as well as three hotels in Dusseldorf.

In Germany, succession arrangements are lined up in the next years, concerning numerous private hotel companies. "We are considered a financially potent and, when it comes to booking know-how, an extremely strong partner for hotel operators and owners“, comments David Etmenan. The German hotel market is also very important for international investors. This year is expected to set another tourism record, with four percent more overnight stays than in the previous year.
