Per Diem Hotels launches new mobile site

Government travel site Per Diem Hotels launches new mobile friendly site.

WASHINGTON – As a leader in the government travel industry, Per Diem Hotels has fully re-launched a new mobile friendly site for federal and state travel reservations at more than 26,000 hotels worldwide.

Founder of Per Diem Hotels, Steve Howard, noted, “It was time for us to rebuild our hotel reservations platform from the ground up to better serve our clients in the government travel community. Top search engines have started ranking websites based whether or not they are mobile friendly, so naturally it was time for us to make the appropriate changes to both our desktop and mobile site to be SEO (Search Engine Optimization) friendly and to accommodate our user base. We look forward to continuing to improve our government hotel reservations inventory in the coming months as well.”

GSA Per Diem Rates affect military and government travelers throughout the United States and overseas by limiting the nightly authorized rate for travel. Per Diem Hotels offers an API feed of hotel rates, which fall within the authorized per diem, and 96% of all hotels within the program’s inventory generally fall within the authorized rate for official travel. Hotel rooms can be booked nightly, weekly, or up to 29 nights per stay.
