Premier Inn Sharjah celebrates commitment to families, welcomes Sharjah Tourism Vision 2021

The SCTDA's vision is to promote Sharjah as an ideal family tourism destination by offering distinct packages and offers specially designed for families.

DUBAI, UA – Premier Inn Sharjah King Faisal Street eagerly welcomes Sharjah Tourism Vision 2021, unveiled by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA). The initiative aims to attract more than 10 million tourists by the year 2021, when the UAE will celebrate its 50th anniversary. The SCTDA’s vision is to promote Sharjah as an ideal family tourism destination by offering distinct packages and offers specially designed for families. It’s a vision that coincides perfectly with Premier Inn Sharjah’s dedication to ensuring its family guests’ visits are as comfortable and affordable as they are fun.

To celebrate this commitment, Premier Inn Sharjah hosted its Seasonal Festive Eve on the 21st of December, with Santa and carol singers from St Andrew’s church choir. On the 23rd of December, the hotel welcomed children from the Sharjah Orphanage and Social Services Department – Social Child Care Center for a festive lunch to celebrate the birth of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Family events like these, and Premier Inn Sharjah’s dedication to the comfort of all its guests, have already established the hotel as a leader in the area.

Roudi Soubra, Head of Operations for Premier Inn, commented: “We are delighted with the hotel’s performance. Three months after opening, occupancy is already over 50%, which shows how powerful the brand is in the region.”

Opened mid-August 2015, Premier Inn Sharjah caters especially well to families, offering spacious family rooms at no extra charge, and welcoming children under 15 to stay and enjoy breakfast for free. Each room boasts a double or king-size Hypnos bed for grown-ups, two pull-out or sofa beds for the little ones, and, for families travelling with a baby, a cot.
