Two years in planning and development, The Chambers is a new concept for the business traveller and discerning tourist . The £10 million project was launched in Leeds city centre by its creator, Christine Boothroyd, on 05 October, 2005.

The Chambers provides luxury, short, medium and long-stay apartments for professional people. It bridges the gap between top-class hotels and luxury apartments, with 24-hour concierge, porterage and security.

Embracing everything one expects of a first-class city centre hotel (professional and courteous staff, prime location, sumptuous decor, luxurious furnishings, broadband internet connection, DVD player, Sky television) there are additional indulgences business travellers rarely expect such as a huge living space, up to two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, a balcony, kitchen, dining area, lounge and balcony. There are even GHD hair straighteners provided for guests – this is the first development in the UK to provide them.

The Chambers, Riverside West Leeds, LS1, comprises 34 one- and two-bedroom apartments; The Chambers, Park Place Leeds, will comprise 63 apartments when completed.

Offering a huge increase in living space in comparison with hotel rooms, The Chambers provides guests with an experience that closer fits being at home than staying in a hotel.

With apartments furnished with modern equipment, appliances and technology, guests have the freedom and flexibility to adapt the apartments to suit their lifestyle, be it as a workspace or place for entertaining and relaxing.

What`s more, the extra space means that guests can be entertained, or the family can be invited to stay over. The customer benefits from their own dedicated apartment meaning they can leave their belongings undisturbed should they have business commitments elsewhere or want to return home during their stay.

The luxury short-stay market is a fast-emerging sector and one that has not been developed to its full potential – The Chambers has set a new and impressive benchmark for the discerning traveller staying in the North of England.

The Team

Created, developed and managed by Christine Boothroyd, property advice is provided by her husband Richard Boothroyd who has 25 years` experience in the construction and property industry.
