Former Lou Hammond executives Cathleen Decker and Stacy Royal introduce an integrated communications workshop focused on travel, hospitality and the culinary arts.
NEW YORK – The Decker Royal Agency LLC, a new public relations company specializing in travel, hospitality, culinary arts and the relentless pursuit of the things that ‘make life a grand adventure,’ announces its debut today.
Founded by former Lou Hammond & Associates executives, Cathleen Decker and Stacy Royal, the firm is based in New York City and is expert in media relations, strategic planning, social media, crisis communications, special events, promotions and digital integrations. The new company includes luxury all-inclusive leader Sandals Resorts, family-friendly Beaches Resorts and private island retreat Fowl Cay Resort among its roster of clients.
According to Decker Royal President Cathleen Decker, successful public relations campaigns are built across many disciplines, which is why the new venture considers itself an integrated communications workshop. “Our practice merges the best of traditional PR tactics with today’s evolving platforms from social media to native advertising to digital content,” says Decker. Adds agency Managing Director and Decker’s partner, Stacy Royal, “It’s about keeping our clients in the conversation, wherever that conversation lives – online, in print or on-air.”
Decker and Royal, who have each built an award-winning body of work throughout their careers, are joined by a team of experts with a depth and breadth of knowledge in the public relations industry.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
