Bertil Breijnaerts brings to Xeamos decades of experience from a technical, sales and management background in the aviation technology and technical service sectors.
Dutch emissions-reduction specialist Xeamos has a new general manager at the helm as it provides smart solutions to an ever-wider range of sectors. Bertil Breijnaerts took up his role in February and is impressed by what he’s seen: “Xeamos has the right products at the right time, combining soot and NOx reduction with low noise levels and exceptional flexibility.” With new premises on the horizon, the company’s ongoing growth will have the firmest of foundations.
Breijnaerts brings to Xeamos decades of experience from a technical, sales and management background in the aviation technology and technical service sectors. He is managing the daily operations of Xeamos, while Alwin de Kock, who founded the original company 25 years ago, becomes Technical Director. De Kock is now free to focus on the further technical development and improvement of the Xeamos range while also supporting the R&D/Controls team, Engineering and Sales.
Clean Air
“Xeamos has become an acknowledged industry leader in the highly specialised field of emission-reducing solutions,” says Breijnaerts. “Our clean air technologies and applications allow clients to meet the increasingly stringent rules related to soot and NOx emissions. They also ensure an exceptional degree of noise attenuation.”
Xeamos’ market share in the superyacht and other maritime sectors has grown exponentially due to the company’s ability to offer genuinely custom products. “This flexibility is also attractive to other industries looking for aftertreatment solutions, ranging from offshore wind to power generation,” adds Breijnaerts. “Our standard OEM products are flying off the shelves too, allowing for instance EU fishing vessels to meet the latest sustainability regulations.”
Expansion ahead
With a dynamic team of in-house experts committed to developing innovative emissions-reduction solutions that contribute to a better environment, Xeamos is a company on the move… Literally, speaking too, with a contract just signed to build larger premises close to its current location in the east of the Netherlands. The state-of-the-art production and office facilities are slated to open in early 2024.
