CHEVY CHASE, MD. – PM Hotel Group, an award-winning leader in the hotel management industry, has announced Alexandra Byrne as General Manager of the recently opened Canopy by Hilton North Bethesda. The Canopy brand offers a fresh, lifestyle experience to its guests through hotel properties that are designed as a natural extension of their neighborhood, delivering thoughtfully, local experiences.
Alexandra's career includes more than 25 years of hospitality experience across management, sales and marketing, operations and finance. Most recently she was the General Manager of the Sofitel Lafayette Square where she managed a team of 150 employees. A long-time Washington, D.C., resident, she brings substantial in-market relationships, a dynamic leadership style and a proven ability to implement strategy with tactical and effective action plans. In 2016 Alexandra was honored with the Hotel Association of Washington, D.C.'s Women in Leadership award.
