90% would recommend CBD for travel, yet few know its legal status

Nearly 60% of travelers have brought CBD onto a plane, but more than 1 in 3 are unfamiliar with the TSA’s regulations.

CBD (Cannabidiol) has seen increasing popularity amongst frequent flyers, but could they be risking a run-in with TSA?

Remedy Review studied over 500 individuals who use CBD while traveling to see how familiar they are with the substance’s travel regulations and how it impacts their use.

Here's what they found:

  • Nearly 60% of travelers have brought CBD onto a plane, but more than 1 in 3 are unfamiliar with the TSA’s regulations
  • 42% of users are unsure if CBD is legal under federal law– 32% are worried about getting into legal trouble if caught with CBD on a plane
  • Reward outweighs the risk- over 90% would recommend using CBD to other travelers
