Dual-branded SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites to open in Orlando, Florida

New building features two popular Marriott brands under one roof.

ORLANDO, FL – Marriott International, Inc. announced that a combined 180-suite SpringHill Suites and 155-suite TownePlace Suites hotel in Orlando, Florida will open on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Located at 8040 Palm Parkway, the property will be managed by InterMountain Management, LLC of Monroe Louisiana. General Manager Clint Militzer and Director of Sales Nicole Belue lead the management team for InterMountain Management.

The six-story property will share 3,767 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, an onsite bar and grill, a beach-entry pool and splash pad, an arcade, a business center and a complimentary hot breakfast buffet.

Located 15 miles from Orlando International Airport, the dual-branded property offers guests convenient access to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Fun Spot Disney Springs and the Orlando Convention Center.

"Attracting both business and leisure travelers, the Orlando area is an ideal location for this dual opening," said Janis Milham, Senior Vice President, Classic Select Brands for Marriott International. "Each brand offers distinct amenities and services that tailor to all visitors."

With suites that are larger than typical hotel rooms, the new SpringHill Suites features separate living, working and sleeping spaces for flexibility and functionality. Comfortable beds, soft linens and plush pillows allow for an optimum night’s sleep. Each suite also features the SpringHill Suites’ custom, three-in-one, stylish West Elm sofa which converts from a sofa to a daybed to a trundle bed and a West Elm Swivel Chair that offers an additional option for relaxation.

A well-lit desk space ensures maximum productivity for those who need to get down to business. Every aspect of design – from furniture and lighting to colors and fabrics – has been carefully selected to offer calm and refreshing spaces that allow guests to relax and recharge.
