Every culture and people have a few defining features. These things inspire and attract people from other cultures. For instance, Spanish may remind you of salsa. Dancers cannot call themselves an expert until they master this particular dance. But there are many other interesting things associated with the culture of Spain. The most remarkable thing about it is the Spanish language. No matter where you live in the world, you may have heard a couple of phrases from this tongue because it is everywhere from the internet to the cinema. Everyone who loves to binge Netflix on the weekend may have watched at least one TV show in their lifetime which is in the Spanish language.

The reason why this language is everywhere is its number of speakers. This Romance Language is the official language in21 countries and has more than 580 million native speakers. According to a survey in 2018, 42 million people were studying this tongue and 125 million were speaking it as their second language. It is influenced by various other vernaculars including Arabic but it is said to be originated from Latin. The Spanish of Spain and that of the Americas is a bit different but those differences aren’t extreme and the people of those countries can understand each other. The reasons for the differences are not complicated. Every region speaking this tongue went through a period of progression during which some of them kept most of the original features or the language while others added a lot of new terms in it. Over time the tongue spoken in a few countries become a lot different from that spoken in other countries. There is an academy which is in charge of making necessary changes in the language. The Royal Academy of Spanish has been around since the 18th century and has helped a lot in promoting the language. Check out this.

Spanish in the US:
Did you know that America has more Spanish speakers than Spain? Well, now you do and that says a lot about the vernacular’s importance in the States. According to one estimate, over 50 million people speak the language in the US. But there are still many people in the world, and in the US, who do not understand this tongue and as a result, require interpretation to comprehend it. The most wanted language combination in the US is Spanish to English and vice versa. The reasons are many. The number one reason is the number of speakers in the state. Any business who wants to reach out to those people will need English to Spanish translation to promote their products or services to their target audience. With the help of translation, people of English-speaking communities, politicians, charity workers, can connect with the Spanish speakers who do not know English.

Another reason why this translation combination is so famous in the US is the number of people who move to the States from Latin American countries. A lot of countries in the Americas have Spanish as their official language and as a result, all their official documents are in that tongue. When someone from there has to move to the US, they will require a Spanish to English translation of their official documents like their birth certificate. People might also need this translation when applying to an American university. Anyone applying for a job in the US will also need a translation of their resume and other important documents. A lot of translation agencies have sprung up to help people who are in search of these translation services but make sure to find a reliable one before booking their services.
