Scenic Group announces preferred consortia partnership with MAST Travel Network

MAST Travel Network has member agencies in 18 states with a heavy concentration of locations in the Midwestern U.S.

HOLLYWOOD FL. – Scenic Group, the parent company of Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Cruises, has announced a new preferred partnership, effective 2023, with MAST Travel Network, a consortia with more than 210 member agencies in the USA. This partnership is all encompassing as it will showcase Scenic Group’s extensive range of river and ocean products for both Scenic and Emerald Cruises.

“I have known and worked with MAST members for years and am proud and honored to announce this partnership,” said Ann Chamberlin, VP sales, Scenic Group USA. “We look forward to working with their members to participate in new marketing opportunities and look for creative ways to support their travel advisors and business. One example of that is our Advance Pay Commission program, with commissions being paid within 21 days of final payment received for registered travel agencies.”

MAST Travel Network has member agencies in 18 states with a heavy concentration of locations in the Midwestern U.S. The organization represents top sellers of vacation and leisure travel across all demographics and travel segments with a particular focus on both mainstream popular vacation styles and destinations as well as exotic, luxury, and special interest travel internationally on all seven continents.

“MAST is thrilled to be working with the Scenic Group and their luxury ocean yachts and river cruises,” offered John Werner, President and COO of MAST Travel Network. “The unique experiences onboard and ashore with Scenic and Emerald Cruises sailings give MAST agencies more ways to delight their customers. Satisfied clients mean continued business for MAST members and that is why partnering with the Scenic Group is a great move for us.”

The partnership comes at a time of strong product expansion for the Scenic Group. The line’s first ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse launched in 2019 and is completing a busy 2022. She will be joined by Scenic Eclipse II in April 2023. Emerald Cruises’ first 100-guest luxury yacht, Emerald Azzurra, launched this year, will be joined by Emerald Sakara in 2023, while the line’s newest river ship, Emerald Luna, was christened this past summer. As of 2023 Scenic Group will sail the rivers of Europe and SE Asia with a combined 26 ships, and the oceans and seas of all seven continents with a total of four luxury and ultra-luxury ocean yachts.

The fully staffed Regional Sales Director field sales team and newly created sales & service support team of Sales Account Executives is focused on developing new business, and servicing and supporting the trade and are reachable at sales.support@scenicusa.com.

Scenic Group, which includes Emerald Cruises, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, and Mayflower Cruises & Tours, has grown over its 36-year history to include award-winning, river and ocean cruises and handcrafted land journeys that take guests to many of the world’s most fascinating destinations covering all seven continents. Since 2008, Scenic has set the benchmark for truly all-inclusive, five-star river cruises in Europe and Southeast Asia. In 2019, Scenic introduced Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yacht, a 228-guest ultra-luxury ship, and plans to deliver a second yacht of the same category, Scenic Eclipse II, in 2023. Emerald Cruises has nine branded Star-Ships offering river sailings across Europe and on the Mekong. In March 2022, Emerald Azzurra was the first oceangoing yacht to launch under the Emerald Cruises brand—a 100-guest luxury yacht that will sail the warm waters of the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Red seas. In 2023 a second yacht, Emerald Sakara, will launch.
