Sky Express was honored for by Athens International Airport as the Fastest Growing Airline

The airline won in the categories: “Best of Top 10 Performance” and “Fastest Growing Airline Domestic.”

Sky Express was honored for the third consecutive year by Athens International Airport as the Fastest Growing Airline and received two new awards. More specifically, during a special event, organized every year by AIA, rewarding airlines with the most successful growth path over the past year, Sky Express stood out in two categories. The airline won in the categories: "Best of Top 10 Performance” and "Fastest Growing Airline Domestic."

Harris Botsaris, Chief Executive Officer, said: "These distinctions are significant as they demonstrate the continued growth of Sky Express and the company’s direction towards a stronger position in the aviation market. We are continuously investing in growth, by expanding our fleet with new privately owned airplanes and by expanding our network with new routes across Greece. We are increasing passenger and tourist traffic for the 30 destinations we currently fly to and from and subsequently, we are supporting and strengthening the development of local communities. We provide high-quality services that we are continually upgrading”.

Referring to this year, Mr. Botsaris added: "So far, 2018, has been a positive year for the company. Sky Express will operate with 12 planes with a 70% increase of total company flights, compared to last year. Our goal is to become the No. 1 choice for passengers, who are expected to reach 1 million in 2018."
