Following the successful return of physical events including TFWA World Exhibition & Conference and the MEADFA Conference in 2021, TFWA has revealed further details of its upcoming live trade shows that will provide a forum for debate on the latest market evolutions and bring the duty free and travel retail industry together with highly welcome networking opportunities.
Speaking at a press conference held on 12th January, the newly-elected TFWA President Erik Juul-Mortensen said TFWA World Exhibition & Conference will return to Cannes from 2nd to 6th October this year. Delegates attending the event will benefit from extended exhibition opening hours running from 9am to 6:30pm, with the TFWA Lounge operating each evening from 6:30pm. The association is aiming to reinstate a full programme of seminars and workshops and social events such as the opening cocktail at this year’s show, subject to local health restrictions.
“The response we received from the industry to our event in Cannes last year was incredibly positive, and delegates were grateful for the opportunity to once again meet friends and conduct business face-to-face. New additions to our events this year – supported with further enhancements to our TFWA 365 platform – will help us to deliver an even better experience for our members, both from a networking and business development perspective.”
