The Eliza Jane appoints Ellen Lemaire as General Manager

Industry veteran with New Orleans roots will oversee historic luxury boutique hotel.

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The Eliza Jane, a luxury boutique hotel in the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, has announced the appointment of Ellen LeMaire as General Manager.

Built within nine historic warehouses and design inspired by buildings’ rich history, The Eliza Jane’s accommodations and amenities comprise 196 guestrooms with 50 suites, including 12 signature suites, a fitness center, lush garden courtyard and spacious lobby bar, which is now open. The hotel also features more than 1,700 square feet of multi-purpose event space, suitable for hosting meetings and standalone restaurant.

As General Manager of The Eliza Jane, LeMaire will have an opportunity to showcase her 20+ years of executive leadership in hospitality management.

Most recently, LeMaire served as opening General Manager for the NOPSI Hotel in New Orleans. Prior to, LeMaire was the General Manager of The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera in Colorado for more than two years. LeMaire’s extensive hospitality background encompasses various management positions with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Kessler Collection, Loews Hotels, and a combined ten years with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts properties in Hawaii and Texas.

With a passion for community and philanthropy, LeMaire served as a board member of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce where she focused on supporting the nonprofit organization Dress for Success, and held a board member position with the Greater New Orleans Hotel and Lodging Association.
