Accelya grows Middle East sales team with the appointment of Mario Segovia Sman

Mario Segovia Sman joins Accelya’s Middle East sales team and will be based in Dubai. He joins directly from Amadeus, where he was most recently the Director Airline Account Management and Sales for the Gulf, North Africa, and Turkey.

MADRID, SPAIN – Accelya, a leading provider of technology solutions to the travel industry, announced the appointment of Mario Segovia Sman as VP Commercial, Middle East.

Mario will be based in Dubai and will form part of the sales team for the Middle East. 

He joins Accelya from Amadeus where over the last 20 years he has held a variety of roles, with the last ten of those based in Dubai. At Amadeus he was most recently the Director Airline Account Management and Sales for the Gulf, North Africa, and Turkey.

The objective of Mario’s role is to cement and grow Accelya´s footprint in the region and he will report to Bryan Porter, SVP Commercial, EMEA. 

This appointment forms part of Accelya’s journey of continuous improvement and to promote the transformation of the air transport industry for the better – with a focus on talent as the most important asset to achieve that.
