Having opened a dedicated office in Scotland in 2011, Golfbreaks.com held off competition from a number of high-profile rivals to secure the award, which was voted for by GTS members and the public.
EDINBURGH – One of Europe’s largest golf tour operators, Golfbreaks.com, has rounded off another successful year by being named International Golf Tour Operator of the Year at the prestigious Golf Tourism Scotland awards in Edinburgh.
“This is tremendous recognition for all the great work that’s been undertaken by Golfbreaks.com in Scotland and we are delighted to receive the award,” said Matt Shaw, Product Manager Scotland for the company.

Golfbreaks.com sends thousands of golfers from across the UK & Ireland to Scotland every year, and with two of the next three Open Championships, as well as the 2014 Ryder Cup, being held in the Home of Golf, interest among the golfing public looks set to further increase.
