More specifically, ATE director P. Lambrou recently referred to the privatisation of KAE while C. Kazantzis, ATE deputy director and KAE president, outlined the direction the firm has taken thus far, as well as the opportunities being offered through its shareholders.
Managing director Frank O’Donovan laid out the aims of the company and its shareholders, its development plan and capabilities for expansion both within Greece and abroad.
Kazantzis and Donovan pointed out that KAE aimed to develop into a modern, dynamic company through the extension of its activities to markets abroad, beginning with the Balkans and southeastern Mediterranean.
They said KAE hoped to increase its profits, contribute to the development of the tourism sector along with adding to the firm’s prestige, and introducing international standards of administration and operation.
Within Greece, KAE intends to be a strong presence at the new international airport in Spata while raising its profile on the islands and other parts of the country through new, larger stores.
