Michael Jackson fans should still head to London urges superbreak

Michael Jackson continues to hit the headlines following his memorial service which saw 6.5 million people in the UK tune it to watch it. Many of those who watched will have been the hundreds of thousands of people who were due to head to London over the next six months to see the King of Pop in concert at the O2. Short break specialist Superbreak reports that there are still many reasons for fans to come to London over the coming months and celebrate the life and music of Michael Jackson.

He may not be playing the O2 anymore, but there are still ways fans can show their support to the legendary singer such as a visit to see his new wax work which was unveiled at Madame Tussauds or a night out at the Thriller – Live theatre show.

Ray Jones, marketing director at Superbreak comments “The sad loss of Michael Jackson was a shock to us all. Many people will have planned to come to the Capital for a few days and take in the show and I urge them to still visit. There has been much debate as to what will replace his shows at the O2 and as yet this is unknown. There are rumours of a memorial concert in London and if this does take place, then I would expect fans to snap tickets up. However, Madame Tussauds has unveilled his new waxwork which will no doubt draw many vistors and I wouldn’t be surprised if other tributes to him are developed going forward.”
