Hunter Jones and Lori Adis join Highline with a combined 40 years of experience in hospitality and management.
VAIL, COLO. – Highline, a new, 116-room modern mountain resort anchoring West Vail, announces Hunter Jones as its general manager and Lori Adis as its director of sales. Jones and Adis join the Highline team with more than 20 years of experience each, bringing innovation, extensive knowledge and an understanding of the hospitality industry to Highline.
A member of the Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) task force team, Jones has extensive experience in property operations working directly with on-site teams and corporate revenue management throughout his eight years with the Atlanta-based, private hotel investment, ownership and management company. Most recently Jones served as the general manager at Courtyard Rockaway-Mt. Arlington, during which time the property was awarded the “Largest House Profit Increase Year Over Year” in 2018. He was also the acting general manager for Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Mahwah in Mahwah, N.J. during the same time. Over his 20 years in the hospitality industry, Jones’ experience spans from Atlanta and Albuquerque, N.M. to Dallas and Branson, Mo. with roles that include several task force positions, as well as assistant general manager and general manager.
Adis, a sales leader for more than 20 years in the ski industry, most recently was the director of sales and marketing at Winter Park Mountain Lodge in Winter Park, Colo. There, her role included overall management of all group, travel agent, leisure, and e-commerce business as well as marketing initiatives. Adis’ previous positions also include a regional market manager for BookingPal, a cloud based technology company within the vacation rental, resort, and hotel market; director of sales and marketing at Tivoli Lodge Vail, where she exceeded revenue goals for five consecutive years, increased the property’s group revenue by 65% in five years and helped to increase overall property revenue by 54% in five years. Adis has also held various sales manager positions with Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center, Ski.com and Intrawest.
