Keolis Canada acquires Skyport

Keolis Canada views the acquisition as an ideal opportunity to consolidate its operations at Montreal-Trudeau airport and expand the territory served.

MONTREAL – Keolis Canada announced the acquisition of Skyport, a bus transport company based near Montreal-Trudeau airport that specializes in airport services. Skyport handles crew transportation and manages and delivers lost and delayed luggage for most airlines, primarily in the Montreal, Tremblant, Quebec City and Ottawa regions. It also operates a shuttle service between the Concordia University campuses, and it offers charter bus services in Quebec, Ontario and the United States.

"There is a clear synergy between Keolis Canada and Skyport, and we very much look forward to developing the services that Skyport has offered to date with the support of all of the personnel already in place," stated Patrick Gilloux, President and COO of Keolis Canada.

"We are pleased to be joining the large Keolis family. There is no question that Skyport will benefit from its extensive knowledge and business experience as our company grows and progresses," said Mario Couture, General Manager and Chief CFO of Skyport.

Keolis Canada views the acquisition as an ideal opportunity to consolidate its operations at Montreal-Trudeau airport and expand the territory served. In fact, Keolis Canada already operates airport shuttles as well as a shuttle between Quebec City and Montreal-Trudeau airport for the exclusive use of Air France and KLM passengers. This acquisition will enable it to deploy a new line of services, such as shuttles to Concordia University, crew transportation, and the delivery of luggage, and it will complement the company's existing charter services.
