London City Airport (LCY) had the most flights on time of all UK airports in the third quarter of the year, according to figures released by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
LCY recorded the best on-time performance for scheduled flights of the ten airports monitored, at 91 per cent during July to September, and the shortest average delay of just five minutes.
Matthew Hall, Chief Commercial Officer at London City Airport said: “These figures are a huge boost for our team who have been working tirelessly to improve turnaround times for aircraft and get flights out on time.
