MyVR announces Global Distribution System integration with unit-type management

Through the GDS integration, MyVR’s short-term rental property management users can now list their units and unit-types with distribution partners Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo, Worldspan and Galileo by Travelport, and reach more than 600,000 global travel agencies and tour operators booking travel product for corporate and leisure travelers.

MyVR, the all-in-one short-term rental property management and marketing software designed for the industry’s fastest-growing companies, has announced an integration with the Global Distribution System (GDS). The integration leverages MyVR’s new unit-type management feature for optimizing inventory types.

The partnership also opens up increased options of accommodation type for corporate travelers seeking greater choice.

“This integration with the GDS creates an exciting opportunity for increased distribution to more travelers directly from MyVR’s software,” said Jonathan Murray co-founder and CEO of MyVR. “With MyVR’s unit-type management capabilities, clients can now market similar units as a multi-unit listing for simplified management and increased performance on the channels.”

“We struggled to find a connection to the GDS that was built for alternative accommodations,” said Parker Stanberry, Co-founder & CEO of Oasis, “MyVR has solved that problem, allowing us to generate more business from our corporate and travel agency clients.”

The MyVR software platform has been designed and built to support property managers in maximizing their performance with automation and proprietary industry insights through one unified dashboard. The platform also directly connects to the 5 major OTAs and a further 70+ listing sites.
