Partnership Travel Consulting expands global team, adding air/hotel sourcing and project management expertise

Industry veterans Bob Brindley and Neil Blaauboer to bring new offerings to clients in the wake of COVID-19.

CAPE CORAL, FL – Partnership Travel Consulting, LLC (PTC) announced the expansion of its global consulting team to include industry veterans Bob Brindley and Neil Blaauboer

Brindley joins PTC as Senior Vice President – Global Supplier Engagements, and will use his expertise to expand the consultancy’s global sourcing team. Brindley brings to his new role more than 30 years of travel management experience. He most recently served as Vice President and Global Head of Consulting for TripActions, overseeing development of supplier programs for the fast-growing company. Prior to that, he was Vice President and Principal at Advito, leading BCD Travel’s air and hotel consulting practices. He is also a six-time recipient of the Circle of Excellence, BCD Travel’s highest performance accolade.

Blaauboer comes to PTC as Senior Vice President – Client Solutions, also bringing more than 30 years of experience in the corporate travel industry. He previously served as Executive Vice President, Client Management at HRG North America from 2017 to 2020, and most recently founded and acted as president of the project management firm TRVL UpSource.

“I am very pleased to welcome Bob and Neil to the PTC team,” said PTC Founder & CEO Andrew Menkes. “Their in-depth understanding of the numerous facets of the corporate travel industry will complement the global PTC team and serve the unique needs of our clients.”

Brindley echoed Menkes’ enthusiasm, citing PTC’s thought leadership, strong reputation and global footprint as major factors in joining the consultancy during a tumultuous period for the corporate travel industry.

“I’m delighted to work alongside Andy and rejoin former colleagues on the PTC team,” Brindley said. “There was an unprecedented upheaval of business travel in 2020 caused by COVID-19. As a member of the PTC team, I’m eager to assist travel buyers as they rethink and rebuild their supplier programs amid the changes in travel patterns, volumes and supplier services.”

Blaauboer said PTC clients will benefit from synergies between his project management practice and the firm’s existing offering. “It’s a natural fit,” said Blaauboer. “I’m excited to dive in with Andy and the PTC team to bring the benefits of our combined expertise to clients.”

Both Brindley and Blaauboer begin their new roles effective immediately. Brindley will continue to be based in the greater San Francisco area, and Blaauboer in the greater New York City area.
