Throughout 2004 and 2005, the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) will present a comprehensive line-up of industry events and programs, delivering educational sessions and strategy conferences as well as business-to-business forums for buyers and suppliers of hospitality, travel and tourism.



HSMAI events are invaluable for sales and marketing professionals looking to hone their skills, network with customers and stay abreast of industry changes. Following is the current schedule of events for the remainder of the year and into 2005.



2004



HSMAI Hotel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference
Dec. 7, 2004
Millennium Biltmore
Los Angeles, CA



The most critical issues impacting Internet marketing professionals, from inventory management to search marketing and dynamic packaging, will headline the agenda when HSMAI presents the 3rd Hotel Internet Marketing Strategy Conference on Dec. 7, 2004 at the Millennium Biltmore in Los Angeles, CA, immediately preceding the 2004 HEDNA Conference.



HSMAI University



HSMAI, in partnership with HSA International, continues its HSMAI University, providing a wide-ranging schedule of course offerings and learning experiences in public venue, private label and online formats. Included in the initial roll-out are one- and two-day seminars and workshops, as well as a monthly series of “LIVE” net conferences featuring industry experts discussing key issues within the realm of revenue management and electronic distribution.



Sales Seminars



The “Hospitality Sales Essentials” two-day seminar will take place in Boston, Nov. 8-9; Mexico City, Nov. 12-13; Salt Lake City, Dec. 6-7; San Diego, Dec. 7-8; and Houston, Dec. 12-13.



Webinars



HSMAI University has also introduced a series of seven monthly “webinars” that focus exclusively on the business of revenue management. The sessions will address each phase of the REVRoadMap™ business process that is a component of the REVolution™ system developed by Buckhiester Management USA. The net conference (webinars) forums will be one hour each, including a Q&A period during which participants can interact with Buckhiester.





Events are scheduled during the third week of each month, with sessions starting at 2 pm EST. Upcoming sessions are themed as follows:

HSMAI Meetings Quest – Fall Series



HSMAI Meetings Quest is a one-day show featuring educational sessions, a reception and luncheon with speaker(s), and an afternoon trade show providing meeting planners with one-on-one visits with suppliers.



Remaining shows during the 2004 fall series will be held as follows: Nov. 18, Dallas; Nov. 23, Washington, DC; and Dec. 9, Anaheim.



2005



HSMAI’s Affordable Meetings®



Three shows held annually for meeting planners and suppliers, HSMAI’s Affordable Meetings provides meeting planners with free educational workshops on topics related to affordable meeting planning, plus an impressive trade show component featuring exhibitors from a cross-section of the travel industry, including hotels and resorts, CVBs, destination management companies, airlines, etc. The 2005 schedule is as follows:

HSMAI Airline & Hotel Contracting Strategy Conference

5th Annual Resort Management Conference
