Peak Travel Group partners with TripLingo

A co-branded app helps travelers be productive, safe and savvy during their next trip abroad.

SAN JOSE, CALIF. – Peak Travel Group is partnering with innovative mobile app company TripLingo in an effort to provide corporate clients with personalized travel resources for their mobile devices. The co-branded app helps travelers be productive, safe and savvy during their next trip abroad.

Available on iOS and Android devices, the app offers a suite of tools to help travelers navigate foreign countries. The interactive phrasebook provides useful phrases in formal and informal contexts that can be committed to memory using the built-in flashcards, quiz mode or audio lessons. For instant translations, users can use the voice translator or connect to a live expert. Travel tools like the Wi-Fi dialer and tip calculator make it easy to travel smart; whereas the safety section features important information such as emergency contact numbers, medical terminology and embassy locations. The app is also integrated with travelers’ Peak Travel itineraries and will send automatic emails reminding business travelers to download the app prior to their departure.

“Our relationship with Peak Travel makes perfect sense, combining our innovative platform with Peak Travel’s commitment to serving travelers with best in class solutions,” says Jesse Maddox, CEO at TripLingo. “TripLingo helps enterprises keep employees safe and productive abroad while helping drive down costs in a number of areas. As business travelers increasingly expect higher levels of service, we’re thrilled to support Peak as they deliver a superior experience and level of service to their clients.”

“We are so thrilled to be able to offer a customized tool for our clients that is above and beyond other translation apps in that it’s not just a language and culture guide, it is a survival guide for business travelers” says Peak Travel’s EVP of Operations, Helen Leon. Peak Travel will be offering the app to clients beginning in April.
