National Tourism Center of Costa Rica gives Pure opportunity

On the heels of PURE signing its first property, Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas – displaying immediate traction of its Central American-Caribbean region specific OTA (Oveedia), the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica gives PURE an opportunity it did not have before.

LAS VEGAS – Pure Hospitality Solutions, Inc., announced that Pure Hospitality Solutions has joined the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica – giving the company an immediate opportunity to rapidly deploy, market and expand the reach of Oveedia throughout the country, to ultimately 6,000 properties.

With approximately 6,000 hotel lodging and vacation properties located within Costa Rica, initial access to these locations would have been much more difficult for Oveedia alone. But with PURE as a member of the National Tourism Center of Costa Rica, “we can begin to immediately canvas those properties that are currently members of CANATUR; meeting our pre-launch goals,” stated Melvin Pereira, President and CEO of Pure Hospitality Solutions.

Mr. Pereira continued, “CANATUR, better known as Costa Rica’s Chamber of Commerce, is one of the best and most efficient ways to accelerate the rollout of the Oveedia platform throughout the country. Much like the United States’ Chamber of Commerce, CANATUR affords Costa Rican business owners, the ability to meet, network, and advocate on behalf of the country’s business community. CANATUR represents over 600 potential Oveedia customers, which we have begun discussing favored approaches to introducing Oveedia.”

CANATUR, Camara Nacional de Turismo de Costa Rica [translated: National Tourism Center of Costa Rica] is a non-profit organization, which represents the country’s private tourism industry. Founded in 1974 to promote tourism in Costa Rica, CANATUR’s members are private enterprises operating within the tourism industry.

CANATUR brings benefits unlike any other organization in the country. Being a member provides National support and security, as well as public and private representation. In addition, being a member of this chamber demonstrates the seriousness of a company; proving it to be trustworthy and legally constituted.

Pereira concluded, “We joined this organization, not only to show that we are a real and viable business that is growing quickly, but to facilitate national and international networking. We are building an OTA specifically for the Central American and Caribbean region and now have a powerful national ally who shares in part of our vision… to increase both tourism and the economic strength of Costa Rica, while continuing to secure a piece of Latin America’s expected 2015/16 online travel sales of $29 Billion and $34 Billion.”

“We look forward to becoming an integral member of CANATUR and increasing Oveedia’s visibility throughout the region.”
