MEXICO CITY – The highly anticipated debut of Andaz Mexico City Condesa is slated for December 2022, marking the first urban Andaz property in Mexico and the second Andaz hotel in the country. Located in the heart of Mexico City’s sophisticated Condesa neighborhood, the hotel is poised to usher in a new era for the creative mecca with the arrival of its first luxury lifestyle hotel. Andaz Mexico City Condesa will fully immerse guests into the capital city’s trendy enclave, home to cultural richness, architectural significance and some of the most noteworthy dining, design, and local art and entertainment venues that Mexico City has to offer.
The stylish hotel will be housed within the historic Conjunto Aristos complex, an architectural masterpiece and a Mexico City Heritage Site designed by famed architect José Luis Benlliure Galán. Occupying a landmark edifice in the reimagined mixed-use complex I421, Andaz Mexico City Condesa’s eclectic modern-meets-historic design will breathe new life into the iconic space and boast captivating views of the city's many monuments from one of its tallest rooftop pools.
Celebrating expressions of local culture with authentic and immersive experiences, the ethos of the Andaz brand will be infused throughout the hotel, pairing seamlessly with the laid back essence of the Condesa neighborhood. When open, Andaz Mexico City Condesa will be home to 213-residentially inspired guestrooms and suites with a roster of engaging amenities including in-room record players and vinyl collections that can be exchanged in a lobby library. All accommodations feature views of either the leafy Condesa neighborhood, an elaborate internal courtyard or, from higher up, sweeping vistas of Mexico City. Additional highlights include a 17th-floor rooftop pool, a spa with unique signature wellness rituals, beauty salon and fitness center.
In keeping with the neighborhood’s reputation as a culinary capital, the hotel’s dining outlets will complement the area's thriving culinary scene with Cabuya Rooftop restaurant and bar serving a Baja and Yucatan-inspired seafood and plant-based menu in a relaxed, bohemian environment with spectacular views and weekend D.J.’s. The pet-friendly Wooftop Bar is an indoor/outdoor beer garden and members-only dog park, and the ground-floor Derba Matcha Bar offers guests and locals an all-day café, workspace and lobby lounge option.
To meet the events needs of both domestic and international business and leisure guests, the hotel will feature more than 12,674 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting spaces, including three breakout rooms, an auditorium and a glass ceiling ballroom for up to 700 guests, complete with customizable LED technology and an adjoining terrace.
