It is a testimony to the efforts and investments made by the hotel; environment is a major concern for our clients and of course for us.
In Nice city center, the Splendid Hotel & Spa is a 4 stars property, 128 rooms and suites, with a spa featuring Decleor natural products and essential oils, as well as Sea of Life, conference facilities, panoramic pool, restaurant and whirlpool bath; it is a family owned hotel for 4 generations and part of the Warwick collection of hotels.
The efforts have been made for a long time and started 15 years ago with solar pannels to heat the panoramic pool, and energy saving switches in every room; for the last 3 months 20.000 euros were invested to relamp 1.500 halogen lamps replaced by LED technology: from 50 watts to 4 watts each; waste recycling was also enforced; the efforts were monitored by an environmental committee
The menu and products of our L’EssenCiel panoramic restaurant have also been modified to incorporate more bio and local products; guests were also informed and listened to during the process.
