Global serviced apartment accommodation booking agency reports enquiries up 173%

Greeley Koch has taken on the role Strategic Advisor & Director, The Americas.

The increase in extended stay enquires is reflected in The Apartment Network’s average length of stay figures. The first half of 2022 saw an average length of stay of 51 nights, an increase of 11% on the same period in 2019.

The Apartment Network, a global serviced apartment booking agency, reports strong half year figures (January to June 2022) with serviced apartment enquires up 173% compared to the same period last year, and up 45% on the same period in 2019.

These figures are the result of The Apartment Network experiencing growth due to new client acquisitions in the US, Asia and Europe, and the return of business travel generally.

With ambitious growth plans and the expansion of operations into North America and Europe, The Apartment Network is predicting a strong second half. Confidence in business travel continues to recover, extended stay enquires are growing and, as a result, there is increased interest in booking serviced apartments.

The increase in extended stay enquires is reflected in The Apartment Network’s average length of stay figures. The first half of 2022 saw an average length of stay of 51 nights, an increase of 11% on the same period in 2019.

The same period in 2021 showed an average length of stay of 59 nights, driven by uncertainty throughout the pandemic that resulted in travel restrictions and extensions to accommodation bookings.

Relocation briefs are key, with pent-up demand evident from a dormant market in 2020 and 2021 and a now buoyant employment market.

Hotspots in North America and the UK have seen The Apartment Network grow its network in these regions, taking on new suppliers in the serviced apartment sector.

Marcos Isaac, CEO, The Apartment Network comments: “This is a very exciting time for The Apartment Network as we expand operations in America. To support this growth, we are delighted to share that Greeley Koch has taken on the role Strategic Advisor & Director, The Americas, specifically to support our expansion in this market. We are honoured to welcome Greeley to the team.”

Greeley Koch responds: “Traveller wellness and their experience when on the road is important to companies as they return to travel from the pandemic. We are seeing more interest in extended stay apartments to provide those travellers with a home like environment that keeps them productive during a long-term stay.

“I’m pleased to be supporting The Apartment Network, where the focus on blending service and technology recognizes the personal nature of extended stay bookings.”
