Nemacolin Woodlands Resort has appointed Christopher Baran as Director of Sales & Marketing. Christopher’s diverse background in finance, sales, marketing and executive leadership lends itself to the comprehensive influence he garners leading the revenue, conference services, sales and marketing teams at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
Christopher brings top-notch nuances from Hilton, Starwood, Marriott and Loews brands and is able to combine the best of them with the diversity and niche preferences found at the most exquisite independent properties.
His ability to align all aspects of the business through strategy, planning, profits, engagement and inspiration produces results for executives, departments, teams and associates, delivering on outstanding engagement, service and a drive for excellence.
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort has also appointed David Federico as the Director of Resort Activities. David is a discerning hotelier with a passion for serving guests and creating memorable experiences. He brings with him 20 years of experience and a luxury-resort mindset, living and working coast-to-beyond-coast in New York City, Texas, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.
His familiarity with brands such as Fairmont, MGM, Hyatt and Ritz Carlton, and his breadth of experience in food and beverage, stewarding, rooms division and in operations have been a part of his drive for success.
One of David’s favorite accomplishments was leading the Four-Star Skylofts at MGM Grand to Forbes Five-Star accolades. His more recent role as the director of operations at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center has prepared him to lead well at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
David loves travel and being with his family. It’s even better when he can travel with his family to immerse himself into swimming, fishing, boating and any kind of water-related fun.
