The director-general of Jordanian Airlines, Mohamed el-Khashan…
The director-general of Jordanian Airlines, Mohamed el-Khashan, whose company operates flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, asserted that the conditions would soon return to normal.
He expected that the situation would be back to normal conditions in Sharm el-Sheikh within a couple of weeks, thanks primarily to the strict security procedures enforced by the Egyptian authorities in order to reactivate tourism in this key resort.
Jordanian Airlines is owned by the private sector and operates flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, Alexandria and Assuit from Aqaba airport.
Royal Wings, an airline affiliated to Royal Jordanian, stressed that there had been no change in its flights to Sharm el-Sheikh airport in the aftermath of the recent bombings.
It is worth mentioning that Sharm el-Sheikh is a very popular tourist resort among Jordanians.
