Through this new cooperation with its partner Hellenic Duty Free Shops in 21 Airports of Greece (Athens, Aktio, Alexandroupoli, Araxos, Zakinthos, Heraklio, Thessaloniki, Kavala, Kalamata, Karpathos, Corfu, Kefalonia, Kos, Limnos, Mykonos, Mitilini, Rhodos, Samos, Santorini, Skiathos, Chania), 11 Ports (Igoumenitsa, Thessaloniki, Kastelorizo, Katakolo, Corfu, Mitilini, Patra, Piraeus, Rhodos, Santorini, Simi) and 12 Border Shops (Doirani, Idomeni, Evzoni, Kakavia, Kastanies, Kipi Evros, Kristalopigi, Mertziani, Niki, Ormenio, Promachonas, Sagiada), the most successful frequent flier program Miles & More is offering its clients additional opportunities to boost their Miles & More account.
The main categories of products are Perfumes & Cosmetics, Tobacco Products, Liquors, Confectionary, Fashion & Accessories, Watches, Jewelry, Souvenirs, Delicatessen. Each time a Miles & More member purchases articles at Hellenic Duty Free Shops (and shows his membership card) he receives 1 award mile for each Euro spent – example if he buys something against 100 Euro – 100 award miles will be credited on his Miles & More account. Till 31.05 a special promotion is running, where M&M members receive 2 award miles for each Euro spent – i.e. for the above mentioned example he receives 200 award miles.
It is also acceptable for a Miles & More member to use the miles in order to buy articles from Hellenic Duty Free. For each Euro he has to "pay" with 330 award miles – example if something costs 100 Euro – the Miles & More member "pays" with 33.000 award miles. Till 31.05 a special promotion is running, offering a better conversion rate: for each Euro Miles & More members "pay" with 300 award miles.
