The firm`s Island Wandering programme includes six different itineraries covering three island groups – in the Dodecanese, Cyclades and Ionia, or 17 islands and cities in total.
Representative for Unijet in Greece, Ioannis Koloumbis said the firm aimed to bring 65,000 British tourists to Greece in 2001, up from 60,000 in 2000.
Destinations and fares have remained the same in light of the large number of packages to Greece available on the UK market. Prices for Greece start at 179 pounds per person.
Unijet targets medium- and upper-level income groups as well as families. Corfu and Zakynthos are among the two most popular destinations for 2001 while the firm also intends to promote Rhodes, Crete, Kos, Kefalonia and Skiathos. Starting in 2001, Unijet will offer packages to Brazil.
