Sheremetyevo and Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG opened new shops in Terminals B and E

Imperial Duty Free JSC, a joint venture of Sheremetyevo International Airport and Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG, opened ten new shops in Terminal B. Four new shops were also opened within the modernization of Terminal E. Thus, the total area of Sheremetyevo Duty Free Heinemann shops increased by more than one and a half times.

Sheremetyevo International Airport held a presentation of the new modern Duty Free shops in Terminal E and Duty Paid shopping spaces in Terminal B. The opening ceremony was attended by Alexander Ponomarenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC SIA (Sheremetyevo International Airport) and Claus Heinemann, co-owner of Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG.

Imperial Duty Free JSC, a joint venture of Sheremetyevo International Airport and Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG, opened ten new shops in Terminal B. Four new shops were also opened within the modernization of Terminal E. Thus, the total area of Sheremetyevo Duty Free Heinemann shops increased by more than one and a half times. Now, more than 11,000 square meters of shopping space are presented at Sheremetyevo passengers’ disposal. The assortment of the Sheremetyevo Duty Free Heinemann shops was expended by the goods of well-known trademarks, including Cartier, Frederique Constant, Maurice Lacroix, Rado, Tissot, Longines, Max Mara Weekend, Marc Cain, Boggi, Armani Exchange, Pinko, MCM, Coach, CK Underwear.

Alexander Ponomarenko emphasized during the event, “The result of our collaboration with Heinemann, the world leading company that has great experience in the market and develops and utilizes innovative solutions for duty free retail spaces is a world-class duty free area that consistently exceeds general expectations of a conventional duty free store. We hope that the new duty free shopping area will be positively perceived by the passengers, making our partnership with Heinemann a role model for international duty free ventures. And right now we start designing of a duty free area in the new Terminal C, which will be commissioned in December 2019.”

Within the modernization of the Southern Terminal Complex (Terminals E, F, D) shopping spaces in Terminal E were completely redeveloped. As a result, the total area of the Sheremetyevo Duty Free Heinemann shops reached 3,200 square meters.

It is worth noting the redeveloped multi-brand concept for Fashion & Accessories and Watches & Jewellery. Within the area of a 760 square meters the goods of Bvlgari, Hublot, IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc, Chaumet, Magerit, Pasquale Bruni, Roberto Coin, Etro, Furla, Coach, MCM, Pinko, Tumi are presented. The multibrand shop for sunglasses covers 70 square meters.

Well-chosen materials such as brass, oiled white oak and Italian terrazzo stone emphasize the luxurious ambience of the design settings, which clearly differentiates „Sheremetyevo Duty Free Heinemann“ from its competitors.

The Duty Paid shopping area in Terminal B covers 2,600 meters and settled in avant-garde interiors of the terminal by Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG architects harmoniously. The area includes ten shops and among them Main Shop, Fashion & Accessories and Watches & Jewellery Boutique, Max Mara, Hugo Boss, Paul & Shark, CK Underwear, Traveller Concept and Kids Shop. The passengers may buy the goods at the “last minute shop” right before the boarding. The Duty Paid walk-trough gallery is not divided by the walls or showcases and conveniently located on the way of passengers from security checkpoints to gates. Such concept allowed to reach the new level of shopping areas’ integration into terminal’s space and to provide passengers with the comfortable shopping without losing time. The passengers arriving at Terminal B may visit the Duty Paid shop at the baggage claiming area. It covers 150 square meters and offers passengers the most demanded goods and novelties as well.

Sheremetyevo Duty Free Heinemann is going to join the loyalty program Heinemann&ME in October 2018. The program proved itself as the effective instrument for forming and maintaining of customers' loyalty and is aimed to increase the number of repeat purchases and an average check among the frequent flyer audience. Joining the program is a very important project for the further development of Imperial Duty Free JSC. It let to identify clients’ expectations and demands better and thus increase the business efficiency and the level of service for clients.
