Club Med unveils their fifth L'OCCITANE-branded spa at its Dominican Republic property, Club Med Punta Cana.

MIAMI – Club Med – the world’s leading all-inclusive brand with more than 70 resorts worldwide – unveils their fifth L’OCCITANE-branded spa at its Dominican Republic property, Club Med Punta Cana. Sandpiper Bay in Florida, Opio en Provence Yabuli in China and La Palmyre Atlantic in France are among the other Club Med properties that boast L’OCCITANE spas. The Club Med Spa by L’OCCITANE marks the conclusion of a $1.5 million upgrade project for the resort, completing the wellness and rejuvenation experience at Club Med Punta Cana, and enticing travelers with a new way to experience Provence with customized treatments relaxing mind, body and soul.

“Club Med continues to reinforce their position as an innovative brand by constantly evolving and making dynamic investment decisions including enhancing its guest experience by collaborating with the most luxurious brands, such as L’OCCITANE,” said Xavier Mufraggi, CEO of Club Med North America. “Well-being is at the core of both the Club Med and L’OCCITANE philosophies which aligns perfectly with what our customers are looking for – a way to balance their lives through enriching activities and relaxation.”

Set amidst a coconut palm tree-lined 75-acre resort, the 54,000 sq. ft. Spa features 10 indoor treatment rooms including one designed for couples massages, four oceanfront palapas including two available for couples treatments, a manicure and pedicure area, Zen Lounge, an exclusive infinity pool to enjoy before and after the service and a L’OCCITANE boutique featuring more than 80 products. Each of the 10 treatment rooms provides separate air, music and lighting control to individualize the spa journey.

The full-service Spa pampers guests with services from L’OCCITANE’s signature Immortelle Secret of Youth anti-aging facial and Blissful Cocoon massage for moms-to-be to the Shea Ultra-Moisturizing Body Wrap for sun-damaged skin and Almond Silhouette Reshape slimming body treatment, as well as waxing, nail and hair care. The Spa also features teen and junior treatments for younger guests ages 8-17 including TOEtally About Me pedicures and Angelica Cheeks facials.
