BROOKLYN – The highly anticipated, music driven luxury hotel, Hotel BPM by DJ BIJAL, named for the music term referring to the pace count of a song, “beats per minute,” is officially opened for business, combining music and hospitality in the heart of Brooklyn.
Maximum occupancy for King rooms is two while double queen rooms sleep up to four. The DJ BIJAL designed “Sound Sleeper” mattress, created exclusively for Hotel BPM and dressed with Frette linens, is the centerpiece of the rooms, which boast modern decor; bathrooms outfitted in Porcelanosa tiles, rainfall showers, iHome Clocks, and energy-conserving thermostats with modes that adjust based on room occupancy. Rounding out the amenities are environmentally-friendly, Gilchrest & Soames BeeKind bath products, 37-inch Vizeo Smart LED HDTV’s with built in complimentary WiFi allowing guests access to Netflix, Pandora, and Hulu; mini-bar and personal Keurig coffeemakers.
The hotel’s inviting lounge area is a great place to meet friends or relax solo. Located just steps from the lobby, it is equipped with tables, banquette seating and free Wi-Fi, with hot breakfast and welcome cocktails served daily. Additionally, room service is available upon request.
Guests booking a stay online can make a song request to be played during their stay. Additionally, the hotel lobby will feature live deejay performances each Friday and Saturday, which the hotel dubs “DJs Rule The World Nights”. Each of the deejays will spin clean music and one live recorded set of each will be available for streaming on Hotel BPM’s website. DJs that can be heard at Hotel BPM are 92.3 Now’s DJ David S, DJ BIJAL, DJ Kalkutta (DJ for Karmin), and many others.
