Solage Hotels & Resorts completes $1.2m. renovation of award-winning Spa Solage at Solage Calistoga

Spa Solage unveils refreshed services and integrated wellness programming.

CALISTOGA, CALIF. – Solage Hotels & Resorts, a California-based hotel and resort management company, announced the completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation to its award-winning Spa Solage, part of the company’s overall $2.3 million capital investment in its flagship property, Solage Calistoga.

The new Spa Solage features a 2,500 square-foot expansion to the reception building, including a new indoor and outdoor Relaxation Lounge, expanded men’s and women’s locker rooms with outdoor showers, an enhanced menu of services and fitness programs, and a redesign of the overall interior decor featuring luxurious design elements. A new spa herb garden showcases vegetation from Calistoga’s unique location, including Rosemary, French Lavender, California White Sage, and Mint, all of which are incorporated into many of the spa’s offerings.

“The completion of the Spa Solage redesign project marks the latest in a series of property enhancements,” said Richard Hill, president of Solage Hotels & Resorts. “Combined with the recent renovation of our Michelin Star-rated Solbar, the beautiful upgrades to Spa Solage significantly elevate our guest experience in a way that truly defines modern luxury and is in every sense Solage.”

The four-month project was conceived and overseen by San Francisco-based interior design and finishes expert Shirley Robinson, principal of Robinson Finishes. Robinson, who also led the renovation of Solbar, collaborated with the Solage Hotels & Resorts executive team throughout all phases of the Spa Solage design process.

Design & Decor
The modern, yet contemporary design and decor of Spa Solage incorporates plush finishes and offers guests a well-appointed retreat in a stylish environment, while staying true to its time-honored reputation as a leading Napa Valley oasis. Variegated white tones and luxurious linens complement the white capiz shell walls in the new 1,400 square foot co-ed, indoor and outdoor Relaxation Lounge, where custom-made furniture creates a comfortable, calming atmosphere. The redesigned and expanded men’s and women’s locker rooms feature white hand-troweled Venetian marble dust plaster waxed walls, exquisite white marble floors, and new outdoor showers, which offer guests a refreshing al fresco alternative to enhance their overall Spa Solage experience.

“My inspiration behind the design at Spa Solage was to create an atmosphere reminiscent of slipping into an extravagant white terry cloth robe; it’s a luxuriously comfortable experience,” said Robinson. “We featured white and silver tones throughout the space to convey a fresh, crisp, clean look-and-feel that’s chic and sophisticated.”

Expanded Spa Menu
In addition to the facilities remodel, Spa Solage is also introducing a series of creativity-driven fitness and wellness programs and expanded spa services designed to leave guests with a renewed sense of balance and well-being. Couple’s Starlight Floating Meditation, Couple’s Mindful Awareness Practice, Partner Yoga, and Wedding Party Workout are all designed to deepen connections and provide rejuvenating experiences for two.  Specialty Mother-to-Be treatments include a healthful Nurture with Nature Prenatal Ritual, Prenatal Guided Visualization and Intention Setting, and a Prenatal Facial.

New personalized facial services featuring products from Epicuren, Scientific Organics and True Nature Botanicals address specific skincare needs for healthy, balanced and glowing skin. Additional debut treatments include a LiquidLift Peptide Facial, Oxygen Infusion Facial, and PhytoFirm Facial performed with the NuFACE Trinity device. Limited-time offerings include seasonal specials like the Royal Summer Special, a honey and wild sage full-body exfoliation with a local raw honey and goat milk body masque, rose petal bath, rose oil body massage, and rose serum marma-point facial massage.

Retail Partnerships
Enhancements to the resort’s Spatique retail boutique include the addition of the Lole brand, a dynamic line of activewear for women, and Qor, an exclusive brand of performance-based athletic wear for men. Both apparel offerings will complement the seasonal fitness and wellness programs offered by Spa Solage with style rotations throughout the year. Lole and Qor are now available for purchase at Spatique, along with skin care products from Epicuren, True Natural Botanicals and Scientific Organics.
