WEST END, BAHAMAS – On December 19, 2016, Old Bahama Bay Resort & Yacht Harbour will reopen its hotel, marina, and Dockside Grille restaurant to our guests after being closed since October 6th 2016 due to the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew.

"Old Bahama Bay was fortunate that no major damage was inflicted by wind, rain, or storm surge to the condos or Dockside Grille," said John MacDonald, President of Old Bahama Bay Resort and Yacht Harbour. "Now that island power and water have been restored, we look forward to once again welcoming resort, hotel and marina guests." Macdonald believes our guests will be pleased with our progress and use of our down time as we reopen with a completely renovated pool, a new guest shopping deck that will house local vendors, a Bahamas Division of Tourism booth, and minor renovations to the Dockside Grille."

"Our Old Bahama Bay staff is looking forward to greeting and serving our friends and past guests, and first-time visitors as well," said James Culmer, resort General Manager. "We look forward to a joyous Holiday Season at the resort."
