Greece is set to host a greater number of Irish holidaymakers this summer, according to trends seen at the recent Holiday World exhibition held in Dublin.
The Irish count the Mediterranean among their favourite holiday destinations, preferring Greece, Madeira and Majorca over their regional competitors. Due to the devastating earthquake which hit the country last August, Turkey is expected to see a decline in Irish visitors.
The Caribbean and southeastern Asia are also likely to experience a rise in the number of Irish travellers.
