Sabre's TotalTrip expands hotel offering for agents to 160,000 properties worldwide

Regional wholesale provider Hotelbeds integrates their content to Sabre's e-commerce platform available in Latin America to shop and book for prepaid hotels and travel extras

SAN JUAN – Sabre Travel Network, a global technology company serving travel suppliers and agencies, announces the recent integration of Hotelbeds on TotalTrip, its solution to shop and book prepaid hotels through the Sabre Red Workspace software used by travel agents.

The agreement aims to benefit Sabre-connected agents with a broader accommodations offering, and also brings Hotelbeds a wider reach to customers for their sourced content. Hotelbeds was selected by Sabre based on their track record and experience in regional markets, plus their systems reliability and quality of service. The extended offer in more than 170 additional destinations has been listed on TotalTrip this month.

“Our new integration of content from Hotelbeds is yet another testament of Sabre’s commitment to bringing multiple and revenue-generating options for travel agents when it comes to hotel and travel extras. The TotalTrip experience is being enriched continuously, now including best-in-class hotels from a leading industry wholesale supplier that ultimately represents even more choices for travelers,” said Roberto Rosales Santiago, general manager for TotalTrip, a Sabre Travel Network brand.

TotalTrip is available in the Sabre software as a comprehensive graphical module. In addition to now providing seamless access to rates from 160,000 properties worldwide, airport transfers and tours, it allows agents to leverage on TotalTrip’s booking tool. This helps increase their business opportunities, guaranteeing both complete earnings and control in managing commissions.

The content integration is aligned to enhancements recently made on Sabre’s TotalTrip, including multiple forms of payments in major Latin American markets. This improved capability allows more efficiency and flexibility in selling hotels, and reduces settlement costs for international travel services.
