Summer season to be framed for IOBUS, the all-Italian company of tourist buses for city tours: in the key months of the summer period – from May to mid-September – almost 100 thousand passengers were transported, with peaks of 18-20 thousand tourists in July and
August.
"In a few months from the start-up of the business, our start-up" comments Giuseppe Cilia, President of Iobus "recorded performances exceeding expectations, on some days we sold out, following the tourist recovery trend in the capital. We have also chosen to adopt a pricing appropriate to the high standard of our service that has been recognized by the comments on social media. The operational collaboration with Itabus, a player of excellence in long-distance road transport, continues to our great satisfaction."
To certify the success of Iobus there were then the reviews posted on social networks and on the OTA platforms where, as Fabiola Cilia, General Manager of Iobus points out: "Flattering opinions were expressed on our service, on the digital component with commentaries in 8 languages and an audio guide for children, and again on the courtesy, efficiency of our staff and on the cleanliness on board the buses. In general, the approval rating of our product, on a scale of 1 to five, stood at 4 points, making Iobus one of the best tour companies in the capital."
Good figures for the future of Iobus, already planned: "In addition to strengthening our staff with new hires" adds Fabiola Cilia "we have reached commercial agreements with the major international OTAs, from GetYouGuide to Booking , from Isango to Attraction World; and an important partnership with "Tickets" concluded. We are also closing an agreement with Musement and with a particularly strong OTA in the Asian markets. Also for the 2023 season, the fleet is expected to increase to 8 buses which will guarantee a frequency of service every 12 minutes."
